Quick update

I have had a very good week...amazing in many ways beyond what I can describe.  So I will just leave it there and keep praising Yahweh. 

I was also interviewed Friday on The Good Report Radio show about Purify 2014 and Purify West Coast - Retreats for Hebrew Roots Singles.  We also talked about some of the challenges facing the
Millennial Generation which was a very fascinating conversation.  No archived version available yet, but as soon as I get a copy, I will share it.

A Very Happy Week

This past week has been a busy yet good week. I feel like I got a LOT done...including everything on my To Do List!

On Monday, I had my cleaning jobs which Daddy and I do together.  Some good Daddy Daughter time.

Then on Tuesday, I was interviewed by Gene Porter on The Wall Watchman talking about Purify 2014 and Purify West Coast. You can listen to the interview at http://www.messianiclambradio.com/wallwatchmen.html. The interview was great to do, and Gene was a joy to be interviewed by!

I completed my degrees as a Certified Nutritional Counselor (C.N.C.) and Certified Chaplain in Holistic Approaches (C.C.H.A.) this past week!  Only one more course and two case studies till I have my degree as a Naturopathic Doctor!  I am also going to go on with the few additional courses required to have my second doctorate as a Doctor of Biblical Medicine.  Happy Dance!  :) 

Wednesday and Thursday much of my time was spent recording upcoming shows for Women Encouraing Women, the radio show I co-host.  We have an upcoming series called Shabbat Around the World, and I cannot wait for you all to hear it!

Friday was Shabbat preparation day, and we had the house all cleaned and everything done on time which is always the greatest feeling.  To have everything done...not just to come to a stop on Shabbat...but to know you planned your timing well.  

We had our Shabbat gathering and greatly enjoyed that!  I'm looking forward to the young folks in our congregation getting together for a time of fellowship next Sunday as well.

My friend, Alex (short for Alexandria) said "We wear pink camo because we are just awesomely feminine!"  You just gotta love pink camo!  

A Normal Week

This past week was a very good week.  I got everything done on my to do list which is always a great feeling of accomplishment!  Then yesterday, we had our Shabbat gathering which I greatly enjoyed. 

We finally thawed out enough to get out after getting 8" of snow last week, so we went to see my grandfather on Wednesday.  Nicole met us there to visit him, and we had a really nice time.

Lots of News!

We had snow rollers in our front yard...they are created by the wind in open spaces and really neat to look at! Yahweh's creativity at work!

One of the questions I get from those considering coming to Purify 2014 or Purify West Coast - Retreats for Hebrew Roots Singles is "will there be others my age?" We had all age ranges from 16 to 75 well representated! There were not only the younger ones but also those in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. Plans Changed

While I may plan my week, the Lord orders my steps.  My family had planned to go to a conference in Nashville, Tennesse; I was looking forward to the fellowship and seeing two of my closest friends there!  However, we received 4 inches of snow the day we were to leave and even went on Snow Emergency Levels where I live.  For those of you not from the North, Snow Emergency Levels mean the sheriff's office is telling you the roads are dangerous...please stay off them!  So, I had to give up my own desires and trust Yahweh. 

By Shabbat the roads were improved enough that we were able to have friends over to enjoy the day with us which I greatly enjoyed.  We had a good midrash on the weekly Torah Portion and enjoyed some great fellowship.  Later today, we are supposed to get another 3-8 inches of snow!  The snow is pretty; however, I must admit, I am ready for Spring and warmer weather.  Oh well, while the snow is here, we may as well enjoy it.  Hopefully, we can have some snow cream (ice cream made from snow).  Also, all of the young adults are planning to go snow tubing later this month which promises to be fun.

Feeling Happy!

My week so far has been quite busy which is a good feeling when it means that your to-do list is getting a lot marked off!  :)

I have edited three of the radio programs for Women Encouraging Women.  We have two more left to record and all the programs for January will be in the queue which is a wonderful feeling of accomplishment!  Please check out our website at www.womenencouragingwomen.org.

Continued work on Purify 2014 in Ohio and Purify West Coast in Oregon is happening.  I'm excited to see what Yahweh does through these retreats for Hebrew Roots Singles.

Then I've finished work on an exciting financial resource for financial coaches which will be premiering the beginning of January.  Since I have been working on it slowly for over a year now, talk about being a "happy camper."

Add in staying on schedule with school, getting planned for next year with ministry and personal projects, and spending time with friends (all the young folks in our congregation enjoyed a day of board games, fellowship, and food on Sunday), it has been a great week!
