Here are the most recent updates on my grandfather...including the good news at the end!
July 24 at 2:09pm
My
grandfather's hemoglobin fell to 8.2 from the 9 that it was yesterday.
They are going ahead and releasing him today from the hospital against
our wishes and even though we don't know why it is still falling. He
will be going back to the assisted living where he has been and
receiving home health care as well as physical therapy. They will
retest his hemoglobin on Friday. At this point, it could be undetected
internal bleeding or his body not making enough Red Blood Cells. Please
pray for complete healing and wisdom as we seek to give him the best
care possible.

Got
good news about my grandfather just in time for Shabbat. His hemoglobin
is up to 8.9 as of this morning. That is still too low, but it means his
body is making red blood cells, he is not bleeding, and he is heading
the right direction. Thank you for your prayers, and please continue to
pray for his complete recovery.
