For this week's Shabbat gathering, we had a guest speaker, David Rubin. David is orthodox Jewish and author of three books. He was a very humble laid back person who was a delight to have in our home and for our congregation. It was very interesting learning the Orthodox way of keeping Kosher and Shabbat. He was a very good explainer and willing to answer our many questions. I think it was a good learning experience for us, and we made a new friend. It was great that our congregation was able to bless Israel as well through his work with the
Shiloh Israel Children's Fund. If you were in Ohio and did not join us, I must say you missed a wonderful Shabbat. We even got in some Davidic Dance time during the supper break! Here are a couple of pictures...
